A Hardcore (life based) survival experience focused on Dungeon crawling and difficulty. Highly recommended to play with friends.

Amongst some of the challenges you will find is the improved intelligence of the mobs, as well as and overhaul to the life system; Adding temperature, thirst, and the valheim food to health system.

It is recommended to play in hardcore and in multiplayer.

Changes in hardcore mode

Hardcore now has a life system. If you die 30 times, you can spectate the world; However if playing with other players, they can now create a ritual to revive you back with an aditional 15 lives. Once everyone is dead, it is game over.

In addition to this, players will not be instantly killed in most scenarios but downed instead; Meaning, they can still save their life if another player can aid them.
