🟦 ZoomEase – Alpha 1.0.0 Smooth, intuitive zooming for every situation
🟨 ✨ New Feature – “Eye Focus” Zoom (Press C)
When you hold C, your view gently zooms in using a natural “eye-focus” effect — 🎯 perfect for inspecting distant blocks, mobs, or tiny details without needing a spyglass.
🟩 🔭 Spyglass Auto-Switching (While Holding C → Right-Click)
Already holding C? And have a spy-glass? Right-clicking seamlessly switches to the spyglass in your hotbar (even if it wasn’t selected), letting you instantly upgrade your soft zoom into full vanilla spyglass zoom. Vanilla overlay ✔️ Vanilla zoom ✔️ Auto-hand swapping ✔️
🟦 🛡️ Shield and Item-Friendly Behavior
ZoomEase respects vanilla priority: If a player starts by right-clicking a shield, bow, food, or tool, everything stays 100% vanilla. ZoomEase only steps in when the player shows zoom intent first by holding C.
🟪 🔍 New: Reverse Zoom (Ctrl + C)
Hold Ctrl and press C to zoom OUT slightly — widening your field of vision for better awareness in caves, PvP, or chaotic biomes. Works smoothly without interfering with spyglass or right-click actions. Vanilla interactions stay intact. 🤝
🟫 🎯 True Client-Side Only
Runs entirely on the client — no server required. Compatible with vanilla servers, modded servers, friends’ realms, and singleplayer worlds.
🟧 ⚙️ Smart FOV Handling
ZoomEase no longer messes with the built-in FOV slider. All zooming occurs through camera-level FOV overrides, allowing: 🟣 Clean FOV restoration 🟣 No FOV drift 🟣 No “forced FOV 70” bug 🟣 True zooming, even for players who use low FOV settings
